Opportunités de formation    
        
L’objectif de cette section est de lister les curs de formation et d’ateliers qui sont offerts aux niveaux national et international dans le domaine de la micro-finance et de la finance rurale, du développement d’entreprises, de systèmes bancaires et autres thèmes pertinents.

Les cours peuvent inclure des programmes universitaires et d’instituts de formation qui conduisent à des qualifications, ainsi qu’à des cours ad hoc de formation intensive de sensibilisation ou bien des formations internes. Des visites d’échanges et des opportunités de formation à distance seront également répertoriées lorsque disponibles.

Descriptionechange was founded in 1999, in response to a shortage in the microfinance industry of qualified consultants with expertise in technology, information analysis and human resource training. The company is a women-owned and operated business registered in Washington, D.C.

echange estimates that over a thousand microfinance institutions in Latin America do not have the capacity to train their employees without extensive and expensive travel to urban centers. For lenders in quickly growing and very competitive or rural markets, this situation is creating a challenging need in trained human resources that are so critical to achieving productivity and success.

echange’s development and delivery of distance-learning courses for branch managers, credit officers and credit supervisors in Latin America successfully addresses this need. A participant from FIE FFP, a microfinance institution in Bolivia, said the echange course on customer service "was truly helpful, in fact I was so motivated by it that I recommended the rest of our branch managers take it as soon as possible." Another course produced by echange covers delinquency management, and its partner organization, Opportunity International, produced a course on its client impact monitoring system. echange’s distance learning products will enable the microfinance industry to cast a much wider net – reaching tens of thousands of individuals in places where little or no training was occurring before.

This special results-based eLearning enables its participants to apply concepts and methodologies in real-time so they can be their most effective and productive on the job. Some face-to-face training leaves participants on their own to apply what they learned, thus yielding little or no return on the investment made in their training. In marked contrast, the echange courses actually shepherd participants through a methodology until a return on investment is achieved.
