| Description | I have over 6years working experience in the banking sector in Nigeria (Diamond Bank) before viaing into the nonprofit sector. I worked with FATE Foundation in Nigeria and set up the business support desk for small businesses. In the last three years, I have worked as the executive director of a non-profit called VolunteerCorps where we recruited Nigerians to provide support and mentoring for disadvantaged youths and also to teach them skills they need to become masters of thier own fate. I just recently resigned my position there and wish to return to my first love which is entrepreneurship and I have a particular interest in Microfinance. I have recently registered a consulting firm to provide services to small business owners which is my area of expertise but wish to learn all I can about Microfinance so I can specialise in that area because I am passionate about alliviating poverty in Nigeria and believe that self employment and empowerment is none of the keys. |
