| Abstract | The 6th Rural Finance Thematic Workshop for Eastern and Southern Africa will take place in Maputo, Mozambique on 12-14 September 2012. The theme of this year’s workshop is “Effective Rural Finance Delivery Methodologies for Increased Productivity.” Several presentations and discussion sessions will be facilitated to exchange experiences and highlight lessons learnt. Also, a field visit has been organized to expose the participants to successful business processes within the communities. This field visit will present an opportunity to showcase the link between financial services and enterprise/agricultural development.
The annual workshop is organized by the Swedish Cooperative Centre - Vi Agroforestry (SCC-Vi), The International Cooperative Alliance (ICA), and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) through the Rural Finance Knowledge Management Programme (KMP). |
