IN THE SPOTLIGHT

Global Agro-Industries Forum (GAIF) will take place in New Delhi from 8 to 11 April 2008. The conference is organized by FAO, IFAD, UNDO and the Government of India. The GAIF will bring together 500 senior representatives from ministries of agriculture and industry, UN agencies, civil society organizations, agro-industry specialists, and private-sector food industry leaders who will discuss the development of competitive agro-industries.

Also, an e-forum will be conducted in preparation for twelve competitiveness round table discussions that will be conducted during the Global Forum. The e-forum will continue up to the end of the GAIF, 11 April 2008. For more information, please click here...
