The new book moves beyond the original meaning of microfinance and fills a critical gap in the literature on inclusive finance. The book also includes several chapters of interest to agricultural and rural finance in particular chapter 8 gives an overview of the saving services; chapter 9 outlines credit products; chapter 10 focuses on agricultural finance and credit products and it explains how to develop appropriate financial products that address the needs of individuals and businesses working in the agriculture; chapter 11 gives an overview of the types of insurance products and explains how insurance can be integrated into the financial inclusion agenda.
